Now, when it gets rather cold outside it's time to pamper yourself with something warm and pleasant: tea for example or a massage candle in someone's tender hands.

Despite the fact that this candle, like an ordinary candle, melts and has a wick, this is completely different from what is used for wax play. Massage candles are made of oil that is sensitive to temperature. In fact, even the heat of your own body is enough for such oil to start melting. The fire from the wick will warm it up a little more, but the sensations are far from those that wax will give. A massage candle is the coldest candle you can find.

So, let's put tea aside, let's start with a massage. Today's protagonist is a massage candle “Temptation”, trademark Djaga-Djaga from Biomed Nutrition.

I already have experience using such candles: several of them stay on the shelf idle and out of my particular interest. The reason is simple: pretty messy. They get dirty, the box after the first use remains in traces of oil, on one of them the wick drowned altogether and it is easier to warm the oil with your hands than to light a candle.

Not being a fan of massage candles, I took Djaga-Djaga products in my hands with doubt. Immediately I noticed that the packaging of the Russian brand is much better than that of Shunga which I had earlier. Unlike Shunga, the candle has a double box: the candle itself is divided into two parts according to the Yin and Yang shapes, and then they are both packed in a round box with a lid. Such a design immediately solves a lot of questions: firstly, the jar itself does not get dirty, because no one takes it with their hands in oil; secondly, you do not need to light the entire candle at once, it will last for a longer period; thirdly, now the candle has a convenient spout to gently pour oil over it.

The smell is very strong, but in my opinion, this is what all massage candles do in general. The packaging says that “when you open the jar your room will be filled with aphrodisiacs and energizing scents”. I don’t know how about arousal but they don’t lie about the smell: the room will really smell like this candle. However, it feels much easier on the skin, the main thing is not to overdo it.

And you can overdo it.

The candle is absorbed harder than massage oils. After use, a slight sticky sensation remains on the skin, like a thin film, although the clothes do not get stained. I pour in a few drops, smear it and, if necessary, add a little more. This way you can control how much oil is absorbed by the skin, and not worry about getting a napkin and wash the excess.

The Djaga-Djaga candle has a lighter texture than Shunga. The feeling of “film” disappears rather quickly, but you will have to put up with the smell on the skin: it will be with you for a long time. If you do not like long-lasting, heavy, thick aromas, then it is better to look for massage oils in bottles: they are not so saturated.

By the way, I noticed that after a few seconds the oil of this candle on the palm of my hand becomes matte again and hardens a little but this does not ruin the massage.

Despite some disadvantages and individual preferences, it is still pleasant to wrinkle the back of a person with a massage candle. Most often, I use this game as a foreplay, or as a manifestation of caring for a partner. A candle (absolutely any) is a certain atmosphere in which it is very easy to start interacting with each other. If you are thinking of how to make a tactile holiday out of a tiresome evening, just turn off all the light above eye level, turn on the music that you love (I always choose something that sounds like a ritual), light a candle or take oil and do a massage for each other. You can connect the Wartenberg wheel to the game. A massage candle is just as cool to use as a warming-up before playing with wax.
