On April, 26^th-28^th, China Adult Care Expo 2019 took place in China.

It was quite easy to detect the entrance to the ADC, just following those people with pink bags found along the way from the metro station to the expo center. Every visitor was given a branded bag by Satisfyer, the sponsor of the exhibition. Inside, people could find some promotional brochures and a survey catalogue of the exhibition. Unlike other exhibitions, no toys were given at the ADC. Several specifically clever brands were distributing empty bags with business cards attached to them.

It was obvious that Chinese people were very interested in sex issues, however, they seemed to have received no necessary education in this sphere. They were awkward and ashamed, but still delighted to watch sexual demonstrations, even a bit outright. Any performance, whether it was just a girl wearing lingerie and looking so beautiful sitting on a chair, or a dancer wearing a sari, that they were immediately surrounded by several dozens of men taking photos on their phones.

There was even a BDSM-hall, decorated as a real cave, a nice idea! To get inside, people had to make a long queue. Many visitors tried to have a look behind the curtain, but they were immediately asked to step back. It was a perfectly created suspense! As a matter of fact, inside it was not as thrilling. There were shock devices hanging on the walls, with no possibility to study them any closer, some pieces of furniture for sex: St. Andrew’s cross, a bed and a handrail. The organizer proved too shy to give any comments.

UPKO – another artistically decorated booth, with topical accessories displayed on it. The tables were covered with purple velvet, there were golden trays with laces having golden parts, a rose-shaped gag, and there were pictures with scenes of sodomy on the walls. It looked nice and elegant.

A huge sex toy exhibition was opened on the third floor. It looked like a sort of a Disneyland for adults. The world famous brands, such as Svakom, We-Vibe, Lelo, Fun Factory, Womanizer, Satisfyer, and some local Chinese manufacturers were represented here. There was even a Russian exhibitor-Lola toys. Many of them presented their novelties. Everybody was impressed with the scale of this event. The regular visitors of similar events said they had never seen anything of the sort before.

You could find everything there-from those unappetizing realistics (there was even a newborn doll and a copy of Daenerys Targaryen’ head) to some sweet soft- colored devices, monster toys looking like cartoon characters.

Lelo, known for their love for luxury, set up a cosmic hall with an enormous display, their products were arranged on black decorative feathers. On the Fun Factory’s booth everything was trembling, vibrating and pulsing. They presented nothing new or noticeable, though.

Svakom decorated their booth in minimalistic designing pattern, with a bar inside. In the middle, they put a sculpture of the pink Nymph, a successfully updated Cookie version that had won iF design award-2019. The official launch of the Marine series followed. The company showed three novelties at once:
Iris – a spoon-shaped clitoral and G-zone vibrator with a soft curled head textured with oval rings;
Winni – a vibrating erection ring with remote control;
Timo – remote controlled pulsating egg vibrator;
Siren – a double-sided wand vibrator with clitoral stimulation.

Siren is the most curious product of these three. One side of it reminds of a Fun Factory Volta, but Timo has some relief on its ends, the other side is similar to the round head of Nymph. The vibrator is going to be a bestseller.

We-Vibe has got an interesting Timo novelty too: Moxy Panty Vibe. It is a clitoral vibrator to be worn with underwear, controlled via Bluetooth with the help of a mobile application. The basic trouble with the worn toys is that they can hardly be fixed. Moxie is attached to your panty and is fixed with a magnetic clip. This tiny toy is made of silicon, is waterproof and offers ten patterns with 10 levels of intensity.

Satisfyer was another brand to deliver novelties and lots of fun. In addition to those erection rings and anal beads announced on the ETO in London,  they’ve got three vibrating ‘pies’ and an ‘ice cream’ called Satisfyer Layons:
Purple Pleasure – a two-sided toy, a smooth plastic side and a soft silicon one, to be applied to the body according to your choice;
White Temptation – has got a hole to be held in hands;
Dark Desire – the textured side is going to retain lubricant better;
Sweet Sensation – a relief mini wand.

They are all very cute, waterproof, with good vibration intensity, pleasant to touch and handy.

Other novelties: anal beads – Satisfyer Beads, vaginal balls – Satisfyer Balls. Expected to be on sale next week.

It was pleasant to see such brand as Avant Blush on the exhibition. This brand is not represented in Russia, to my greatest embarrassment. Their famous range of Pride dildos was not shown. Instead, there were mini wands-Noje and a vibro bullet-Lipstick, very similar to Tango, but, to my mind, looking better thanks to its mother of pearl surface.

Among the novelties, the brand showed a range of vibro bullets made of biodegradable plastic-Gaia. This bioplastic is the ideal stuff for making sex toys because it has no pores, the manufacturer’s agents claim. The brand’s concern for ecology is reflected in the package of the whole range: it is made of recycled paper with no plastic fractions.

Blush also supports a number of Go Green initiatives, for example, the brand launched a campaign under the name #GaiaGreenTeam, during which they are going to plant a tree in honor of every shop placing Gaia products of its shelves. This promotional campaign was open in social media and took place on Earth Day, April, 22^nd, 2019. It is a beautiful and ecology-concerned range.

Nexus launched four newest caps for their Doxy, they are in fact suitable for any full-size wand massager, for Le Wand, for example:
– a ‘rabbit’ vibrator;
– a prostate gland massager;
– a masturbator for the penis’ trunk;
– a clitoral stimulator.

They are all made of black silicon.
